Bayon Temple

At the exact center of Angkor Thom, this is an eccentric expression of the creative genius and inflated ego of Cambodia’s most celebrated king. From there, we walk to Baphuon, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the reign of Uditayavarman 1 in the 11th century.

Half Day Angkor Wat

Visit the World Heritage of Angkor Wat Temple - one of the wonders of the oriental world. Aside from being the world's largest temple, Angkor Watt is also the most well-preserved temples among the Angkor monuments, well-known for its magnificent and detailed relief of the construction. The surviving awe-inspiring ruins serve as a testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia's greatest civilization.

The temple is a masterpiece of decorative details and architectural style, and is said to be a replica of the universe according to Hindu mythology. The longest continuous bas-relief in the world is located at Angkor Wat, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

Ta Phrom

Ta Prohm is one of the most beautiful and famous temples in the area, as it have been almost untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. For all would be Mouhots and closet Indiana Jones, Ta Prohm is the perfect lost-temple in the jungle: Strangler figs and kapok trees entwine themselves around the ruins of Ta Prohm. Their roots burst apart even the thickest of walls, yet their clinging embrace prevents the walls? collapse.

Tonle Sap Floating Village

Visit to Floating Village, take a ride by traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive - floating villages, towering stilled houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia. 

After the visit, head back to town to visit Artisan D'Angkor, a handicraft center for the wood and stone carving processes or shopping at old market.

Half Day Siem Reap City Evening Tour
Embark on a city orientation when you take a little French Quarter Walk around the old market. After some light shopping, head over to dinner at a popular local restaurant which serves traditional khmer culinary delights all in the comfort of  modern facilities. 

After dinner, watch a theatrical performance put up bby the Phare Ponleu Selpak?s Circus School. The school was created in October 1998 when one of the founders realised that his drawing classes weren?t effectively channeling the energies of the most volatile, damaged and vulnerable children. At that time, the Anch Chanh village was home to a large population of abandoned children and street kids in conflict with law and their social environment. Today, the Circus School remains an open-access space where students are trained by skilled local teachers and foreign volunteers in the major disciplines of juggling, acrobatics, aerial acts, clowning, balance and dance.

The brand of ?new circus? incorporates artistic prowess and social and historical awareness. Since the first professional performance in 2002, Phare Ponleu Selpak?s circus troupes tour every year in Cambodia and abroad in Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Each week, the on-site PPS big top hosts at least two shows for audiences comprising both local people and foreign tourists.

Khmer Cultural Villages
Visit the Khmer Cultural Village and get to know about the Khmer people - who are a Southeast Asian ethnic group native to Cambodia. Their ethnicity accounts for approximately 90% of the country's 15.2 million people. Learn how this society makes a living through traditional work (sugar palm) and handicrafts.

Discover Angkor Thom
The great city of Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. This city is surrounded by an 8m high wall; each side of the city is 4km long. It draws a perfect square you access this town through 5 gates; 4 of them represent the cardinal points and the 5th one the Victory Gate was the one leading directly to the Royal Palace Area. The Angkor Thom visit also includes the Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean kas, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Banteay Srei Temple
Also known as the Citadel of women. This temple is considered to be the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture. It is a small temple but its pink sandstone carvings are impressive. Considered by many to be the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art, Banteay Srei is cut from stone of a pinkish hue and includes some of the finest stone carving anywhere on earth. Begun in AD 967, it is one of the smallest sites at Angkor, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in stature.The art gallery of Angkor, Banteay Srei, a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, is wonderfully well preserved and many of its carvings are three-dimensional.

Grand Circuit
Is an extension on the little circuit but taking in Preah Khan, Preah Neak Pean to the Eastern Mebon and the various monuments like Ta Som. After the tour, enjoy sunset at Pre Rup. Drive to the rural outskirts of Siem Reap - about 35km from town for a visit to Khmer classical style architecture temples. Visit places like the Banteay Srei Temple, also known as the Citadel of women. This temple is considered to be the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture. It is a small temple but its pink sandstone carvings are impressive.

Cooking class in Cambodia
Each class commences with a visit to a local family. Along the way you will learn about the herbs and vegetables grown at most Khmer households and used in daily cooking. The visit to a family's home is an opportunity to learn about food preparation in a Khmer home. Who does the shopping and the cooking! Your guide will also let you know about food customs, superstitions and beliefs. A gift of rice is provided to the family as thanks for their participation.
