Stroll down Hefang Old Street

Qinghefang Ancient Street is a section of Hefang Street which is located at the northern foot of Wu Shan Hill in Hangzhou. It is just several hundreds meters away from the beautiful West Lake. With an area of 13 hectares (32 acres), the street is the only well-preserved part of the ancient city. As a miniature of the city's long history, it is the best place to embody the historical and cultural character of Hangzhou.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum (TCM)

The Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the only state-level professional Chinese Medicine museum in the country. It is seated at the foot of Wu Hill in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The museum is housed in the restored ancient structure Qing Yu Tang, meaning that it is also known as Hu Qing Yu Tang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Morning: Shared boat ride around the West Lake

Be mesmerized by the stunning natural beauty and the rich cultural heritage of Hangzhou. Located on the east coast of China, it was previously described by Marco Polo as "the finest and most splendid city in the world". Visit West Lake - the symbol of Hangzhou - which boasts enchanting natural scenery and embark on a boat cruise on the lake. The lake was listed as a World Cultural heritage Site by UNESCO in 2011, and was touted as one which offers the most beautiful sights in China all-year round. Lotus flowers are a common sighting during the July season.

Lunch at a local Chinese restaurant

Afternoon: Lingyin Temple and Song Dynasty Imperial Street

Visit the 1,600-year-old Lingyin Temple that features many grottos and religious rock carvings, the most famous of which is the incredible Flying Peak. You will find Temple of Soul's Retreat (Lingyin Temple) in a long, narrow valley between Peak Flown From Afar (Fei Lai Feng) and North Peak to the northwest of the West Lake at Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. It is without doubt a premier showpiece in the West Lake environs and is notable also as one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China. In 1961 it was listed for protection as a key provincial historical and cultural site and is considered a leading centre for research relative to Chinese Buddhist culture. End the day with a stroll on the Song Dynasty Imperial Street, which is lined with many varieties of shops, and snack bars.
